NEXT SEASON
Tottenham Hotspur have been granted permission to play 27 games at Wembley Stadium next season with the full 90,000 capacity.

– problem would be atmosphere. I think the team was affected with the lack of noise from the home fans. It’s quite big, open and fans are a distance. Difficult to create one. Hopefully this year’s experience will put us in a good stead next season. Also I hope we do plough some of that money into a couple of world class players.

Nevertheless DL haven’t discounted the fact that we may still be playing at WHL another season. Decision on this were to be made by 30 Mar however it seems there’s some room to extend this deadline.

– costings have been an issue with Brexit contributing to drop in currency. DL is balancing things up with sponsorship money and funds from other areas. JL may not want to pump money for this. Possibility DL have to sell some of his stakes to balance up accounts.

Mauricio Pochettino met the Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu three days ago at Farga restaurant in Barcelona. Spanish football expert Balague insists the Spurs boss is going nowhere. “It was just a chance meeting in a restaurant. They’ve known each other for about 15 years, their kids have been in the same school. I can guarantee, 100 per cent, that Pochettino was with a bunch of friends having dinner. It was a chance meeting. They stood up, they greeted each other, hugged each other, and that was it!” Spurs is aware of the meeting.

TROY PARROTT
We signed 15 year old Troy Parrott, wonderkid from Ireland. He’s an all-action, powerful front man with tremendous work rate, exceptional vision, skill and a killer touch and deadly in front of goal. On one of his many visits to Britain for trials, he played in a club’s in-house game with a mixture of their Under-15 players – A team v B team style. Parrott played the first half for the B team and scored five times. He switched sides at half-time and netted another four. It’s why Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea have all been trying to sign him since the age of 13. Everton and Southampton were also interested.

ISCO
Isco news is on once again, for days actually. First news came was that “Isco is pleased with his potential role at Spurs after talks with Pochettino.” Marca reported this. Then Skysports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague reported this hours ago.

“Real Madrid want to give him another contract. He wants to see what happens. He has offers from top teams in Europe. Tottenham are a team that wanted him last summer but I think Mauricio Pochettino will put his focus into other players.”

BARKLEY
Interest is real. He is not offered any contract as of last night. He is on Bosman in January. Unsure how he will get in the squad as I see him as back up for Alli Eriksen and Dembele.

SISSOKO
He cost $30m and its in installments of 6m/year. We have paid 6m for him. If rumors are true, he is off in the summer with AC Milan being touted as one who is interested. Watever it is, Newcastle will get their 30m.

O’HARA
On 23 March 2017, BBC Sport confirmed that O’Hara had joined Billericay Town in the seventh-tier of English football Isthmian League Premier Division.
